PS A/S 4?

Its time to replace my tires, currently running the stock MXM4 in 225/50/17.

I am looking for all season tires for my daily driver (328i).

Would you go with the new Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4, DWS06 or stick with MXM4?

I would keep the tire size the same as the roads in Dallas are not in the best shape - but I am not afraid of go-flats in 17" it would be difficult to damage them at that size.

Thanks.

If you really need all-seasons, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4's are (IMHO) the best. I'm currently running the A/S 3+, and they work just fine. I will upgrade to the 4's when needed.

I grabbed some A/S 3+ on closeout and they have been great. I'll definitely be switching to AS4 when the 3s wear out.

While that is true, as it is his daily he may put on more miles and not drive in a manner that justifies the cost of the PS4S. Completely reasonable to get the a/s 4 instead for his needs.

all season tires have come a long way in terms of performance and given he is in texas there is no need to worry about how they will do in snow. The A/S 4 will suit him just fine.
