Recommendation
It would nice and more educational if videos were made of most walkthroughs and functions of the things that’s talked about. And put it on the first page. Maybe start a YouTube channel dedicated Android HU

Hi!! Do you know if the px6 screens currently have full idrive control? my px6 is not able to recognize the idrive wheel in third-party applications or Android auto (I use HUR). my idrive wheel only works inside Giui launcher or oem side. I read here people who could control the AA / apple carplay with roulette. Is it because I have an old update? thanks to everyone! Goodnight!

Hey everyone,

i bought a navidom display 1 year ago and i want to update the MCU File. As i am not very sure if i understand everything right, maybe you can answer me some question before i do something wrong. :-)

As i checked the first post in the Android 10 post i came to the conclusion that i have to use the 1980x480 update file NBT and also it must use the same string code. I am very unsure about the right update file as the update files don't start with numbers like on my picture: 023052dGS-NBT-GTH.....

Also I can't find any changelogs regarding the MCU Updates. Are they really necessary and add some features or just fix bugs? As for now everything is running smooth, maybe i shouldn't update at all?

Firmware 3.8.x for Android 9 has a major new feature; support for iDrive knob in all apps, not just the menu. So if you have iDrive, you should update to 3.9.8, download link on the first page. Some report better audio quality in these later versions.

We have no changelogs for MCU updates. If you want the latest version, use the download link on then first page in the Android 10 discussion (dGS, NBT). Most here do that.

Hey guys just wanted to warn you about the Ali Express seller "MEKEDE". As long as you don't have any problems, everything is fine, only if you get some you only have trouble. I bought the display and everything was great. After 2 months it didn't work anymore. Contacted MEKEDE and tried everything that he told me to test. Still without function. Then he said to send it back. So sent back for 60 € shipping and nothing has happened since then. 4 months ago now. I don't recommend buying there.

Another question, when updating I can lose the Giui of bmw? I think I have all that there are (nbt, bmw evo, id 6 and id7) and I am afraid of losing them, since every so often I change them.

I'm thinking to buy a Carplay/AndroidAuto MMI (I just need Carplay for my iPhone), but the Android screen could be an alternative too. I tried to use the search function of this forum, but I haven't found an answer.
Is it possible to put the waze/google maps/sygic navigation direction to my OEM head up display?

Unfortunately it is not possible. Android communication with car is very limited.
