Deactivating Cruise Control Cornering Feature

Has anyone successfully deactivated the dynamic part of the cruise control that slows the vehicle when cruise is engaged, and the road starts to curve beyond a certain steering angle?

Basically, it's slowing down the car on curvy roads that I know and it's bloody annoying!

Is that an actual feature built into the CC? I always thought it was just that going around a curve in the road has more friction and the CC is just slow in adjusting for the change so your speed drops. If you go around a curve without CC and don't add more gas, you will also slow down a bit.

Yes, it's a built in feature. When it detects a corner it actively slows the car down, then speeds back up at corner exit.

Wow! It actually is a thing.

OK, so how do we disable it?
