F31 Welcome Lights
Hello,
I don't know if this was discussed before, but when I searched for it, I found nothing, so I thought let's share ... I managed to code the Welcome Light function in my F31 to use more than the usual lights (front LEDs (Angel Eyes), rear LEDs and door lights). It now uses also the front turning lights and the mirror turning lights. What I did was changing in FEM_BODY (in 3062 & 3063): - for the front turn lights - - MAPPING_BLINKEN_V_R_PART_OF_WL - MAPPING_BLINKEN_V_L_PART_OF_WL - for the mirror turn lights - - MAPPING_BLINKEN_Z_R_PART_OF_WL - MAPPING_BLINKEN_Z_L_PART_OF_WL I tried both SOFT_ON and HARD_ON and it worked with both, don't really know what the difference is. Cheers and gl with coding |

I'd love to see a picture of what this looks like. Any chance you can share one?

I will take some pics and will try to post them these days.
IMO it looks awesome ! The orange turn lights in the mirrors especially ... I turned the fog lights off, since no LED, it doesnt looked nice underneath the Angel Eyes ... Also the front turn lights are not so nice near the Angel eyes. But Front Leds (AE), mirror Leds and rear Leds look awesome IMO ! |

Soft on is a gradual turn on, but if your lights are LEDs you should choose the "Soft on LED" option instead, it's even more gradual and looks sharp.
Hard on just turns the lights on immediately, no ramping fade on.

Hard ON / OFF = Light instantly turn ON/OFF I have the same setup. However, I changed my Fog lights from soft to hard ON because I have HID projector fog lights, and with soft on the lights flicker and likely causing damage to the ballast and or bulbs. I also disabled cornering light so my HID fogs don't keep turning off and on without warmup/cooldown.
