Anyone watching this? Thought the first episode was excellent. Captured the frustration of dealing with the crying baby very well, along with the completely selfish and oblivious father...leading to disastrous consequences.

Looking forward to episode 2 on iplayer.

There are some great box sets out at the mo - Killing Eve, The Bodyguard. The Cry is on the watch list.

The wife liked it, I thought it was far too slow and nothing really happened. Pretty much every character was annoying and she really did need to kick her husband in the nuts on the flight whilst he was sleeping.

There are a lot of good things on. Funnily enough, couldn't gel with the bodyguard, the first thirty minutes or so of episode 1 irritated me and we gave up.

Loved killing eve, but a poor last episode (no spoilers!)

I thought the tension built nicely and the constant timeline jumps were intriguing.

Loved killing eve, couldn't get on with bodyguard, hadbread good about things about Cry on the BBC, meant to watch but forgot, thanks for reminding

Just started watching The Cry. Enjoying it so far although as a new father it can be a hard watch sometimes!

Informer starts next Tuesday. Looks a bit "try-hard" from the BBC but will give it a go.
