Company credit report - best site to use?

In need of a company credit report for a company, just need a one off report but the majority of sites seem to require you to need a subscription apart from Experian which will do one for £24.99+VAT.

Anyone know of any better sites or cheaper?

Look up the last set of filed accounts for free and determine credit worthiness yourself? https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/search/companies

It was more for information on the CCJs and other information you don't get from the set of accounts.

Company Check, you can get most of what you want free. Maybe a Google search for what you can’t find. If all else fails, pay £20 for a credit check from them.

Problem is, accounts are 1-2 years in arrears to the current position so you never really know for sure with a smallish company.

Yeah, i've looked at Company Check. They don't get brilliant reviews when you want to come and unsubscribe like the majority of these credit check sites do...Hence just really wanting to do the one check.

Have you used them?

Not for credit checks, but for general background info on companies. You have to read between the lines and look for changes in the company position, such as reduction in cash or increase in loans etc.

Experian is the best. Perhaps find a friendly company that subscribes and ask them to do it for you?
But to be honest £25, if you have doubts is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Yes you are right, however £25 seems a waste (and a bit steep) when it'll probably tell us what we already know. We'll see how the situation progresses before paying for it.
