would this benefit a stock motor? I havent done any bolt on mods yet being under warranty but id assume this would lower IAT even at stock, no?

I probably wouldnt worry about it if you're stock. Especially if you're up north where it's not 90 degrees 10 months out of the year

eBay link
I had to ask Tang for the link...but they are provided above as you've likely seen.

Basically it was ~77 degrees outside and the IAT went from ~85 to ~100. However a better test would be logging multiple pulls from different gears to redline over a period of time to see how well the IC keeps the IATs down and recovers from high temps.

Just for that particular set of test parameters though right?
I don't have any experience with upgrading ICs, but is it a fair question to ask...that a basic test run, like this graph is showing, isn't a sold representation of what the IC COULD do at hard pulls in 3rd ed or 4th....like Mike was requesting? I guess what I'm asking is, is it possible the IC does well during this basic test run, but the ass falls completely out of it when you get into those hard pulls in 3rd and 4th? Can it be assumed, or is there a high probability of those pulls in 3rd or 4th having a lower temp(performing better) than stock, or as good as the more expensive versions......by just looking at a basic run such as this graph shows? |

Haha not gonna lie, me too. But I don't have jb4 so getting the data I can't do. Would love to see people post them though. I do agree with Mike, gotta see that data before you can say it's good product or not. Plus I'm a geek, and like knowing a lot of detail. Usually. |
