Bmw F30 TPMS

Hello.

I have question for my car.
Currently I haven't tpms sensor in tyre and Idrive doesn't fault.
All is green and flat tyre monitor is active.
I want buy tpms sensor and upgrade in rim. Which is procedure for installation. Do I need programming sensor or only instal and initialise with idrive
Does anyone have experience with this?

It depends what month/year build your car is. Early cars used a separate module installed in rear outside, and later ones used the DSC module as the antenna/control module.
