1st Anniversary Present

So, a couple of weeks ago, we had a 1st birthday party (delivery) for my car. Around that time, I received a gift from my dealer for a free family photographic session to the value of $1,200.00

By the way, similar deal happened after 1 year of my E90 325i (with a different photographer). Had a nice portrait of our sons taken.

It's a very nice gesture, but personally, I would have preferred a $1,200.00 cash back offer.

Anyone else receive a 1 year gift from their dealer?

Garage List
No, but given what I paid for my custom build I don't feel like I'm missing out.

I got mine through a corporate plan, so not sure if I'll get anything, probably not Like the others I got a good price, so happy if I don't get anything, but at the same, I would sooo like a present. Less than 10 months to go

Didn't get a damp squib from Auto Classic on year 1 of my 135's life, but to be expected.

Neither my wife nor I am keen on it. The photo studio seems to be trying too hard to be whatever it's trying to be.

I will ask my parents if they're interested. Glad I'm not the only one who feels/felt this way about the offer. Hope it's transferrable.

Yes it is! Easy if family because you can book under your name. They will take 70 $ off you when you book though (as a down payment on a free gift)

Nothing from Auto Classic either, I guess $85,000 doesn't get you much these days..
12 months last week and all I have is a knocking steering rack and a reverse camera that they can't fix because my car is white.. Should of bought the Jaguar

Thanks. They called and tried to arrange a booking but I've delayed them a while. They told me $75 booking holding fee, which I have returned when I show up (or whomever else ends up going) to the session.

Wow!!! Just because it's white and reflects the light. Time for a better sensor, lens and processing chip. Gee, the chip maker for the now (quite) famous GoPro camera makes a decent HD automotive chip. Probably relatively cheap too.

I wonder which processor the F30 uses. Also a flat lens may have been a better choice, but all this should be, should use doesn't help your issue.

A client of mine has a Jag he bought new last year. He's very, very happy with it. Lots of motorised bits & pieces in the dash though. Impressive looking dash.

The best I've ever gotten was from Subaru Australia... It was a Christmas card and free wheel alignment for a WRX STi at their servicing centre

I remember there was something in the card that said "keep your STi tracking straight and true into the new year"

Off topic so sorry but not sure which Jag your client has but I was so close to buying the XF over the F30. It was actually my first choice. I still think it is a gorgeous car in and out but thought the German engingeering would do me better in the long run. No major issues yet let's just hope I made the right decision, only time will tell but so far I think I have.

Seems to be a common thread.

I too was looking at the XF and if the salesman had ever called me back I may well have bought one, too late now.

They are a beautiful looking car, never actually got to drive one so I'm not sure how they go.

Given my experience with BMW Australia and the dealership, if they send me any sort of present I will go shove up their bottom.

I know exactly what your saying, however, do you think there are people on the Audi, Mercedes etc forums saying the same thing about their dealerships.. I mean are we expecting too much ? I know most of us here have spent the better part of $100,000 on our F30's ... I mean how much and how long does the 'arse-kissing' last when someone goes out and buys a $700,000 for example?
Ive always wondered, In general.
