Floyd Bennett Field Meet- (Postponed)

***Update: Looks like the weather isn't going to be upto car meet standards this coming weekend. Considering that and the fact that it is Fathers Day, I've decided to call the meet off for a later time and date. Unfortunately, I'll be in Chicago from July and August so I won't be able to be at the meet. If any of you guys want to take charge and host a meet in the coming weeks, let me know and I'll try my best to help out.

Now that the weather seems to be sorting itself out, I think it's time for a meet up!

When: Postponed until further notice

Where: Floyd Bennett Field. Specifically, in one of the fishing area's by Hanger B. Enter via Aviation Rd. Turn left onto the road towards the Sport Activity Center. However, turn right on the road that comes up about a 1/4 mile down the rd and keep following it till you start seeing signs for the fishing areas. We will most likely be in one of them, just look for some simmers :b.

Rules: This is public park/preserve area. I'm not say expecting the following, but let me just reiterate:
-No reckless behavior/driving
-No excessive revving
-No drinking? (It's morning time)

Please let us know if you are attending on the posted poll.

We have a few ppl going Friday June 12th to Islands Dragway thats open from 7-11:30pm
A few of us are rolling out together from NYC and meeting up with 2 or 3 more folks in Fort Lee, NJ

228, M235, F25 28, F25 35, 435 GC, so far confirmed

Both work well for me. If we go for a morning meet, then Floyd Bennett might be the better choice.

Try to come we're rolling early to make it at their opening but the drag is open till 11:30pm

Weekends and Wednesday's work for me. I'm thinking either this weekend, or the weekend after.

Location is Floyd Bennett Field, probably one of the fishing areas.

Time will either be in the morning, or evening.

Thoughts?
