This allows the friction material and rotor hat to move a bit, since the caliper can't.
Cant see pic for some reason but i think i know what you mean. Ive ran these exact rotors on 3 track days and havent had any issues lol

I believe ya, but just be careful because I was looking at this the other day and people who track their car with rigid discs on rigid calipers were having rotor failure

Time to revive my old thread. I have a few maintenance items I need to tackle now that the car is almost at 80k miles. Let me know if I am missing anything. I just did plugs ~1000 miles ago.

Trans Fluid change
Valve Cover Gasket Replacement
Brake Fluid Flush
Diff/xfer case fluid

It was time to take the armytrix exhaust off to try something new. I am now running the ER catless down pipe, OEM front pipe, supersprint section 2, & the VRSF race axle back. I didn't think this setup would be as loud as it as. It sounds fantastic. I have tried a few different setups and nothing even comes close. I will post pics and videos soon.

Reviving this archaic thread. Finally bought a Dorch stage 1 pump. I never plan on going PS2 so the stage 1 pump was plenty for me. If i ever buy one of those turbos its going on my M340 lol.

Ill add some new pics soon as I have fixed my diffuser/exhaust setup.

hey! beautiful car!

i have a 2019 440i xdrive coupe in estoril blue as well and your build is an inspiration bro.

questions:

have you had any issues with your front axles after being lowered on the kw coilovers?
do you run xdelete at all?

Hey, I have not had any issues yet and its been nearly 5 years. I have had one rear spring break but it got replaced under warranty. I am not using X Delete either.

This is the kit you would need. I would give these guys a call if you have questions.
