Did you check the TIS? https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/
Good luck!

330D M Sport Touring 2016 - cigarette lighter not working

Hi all

New member, just today my cigarette lighter stopped working, I use it for my dash cam. The 12v socket located in the boot works fine, do they run on two separate fuses?. Where is the fuse for the cigarette lighter fuse? The car is still under BMW warranty.

Thanks

Vass

According to this video 66, 69 & 162 are for accessories like the cigarette lighter.

Would 66 or 69 be ideal to use for an AIC2-V PI controller? I tried to use what some other members recommenced, but I ran into no start issues due to my alarm system.

I imagine coding could be done to reduce the time on after engine shut off.

For anyone curious, I just found out for my MY16 F32 ;

ACC wire (Red) can connect to Fuse# 143 , BATT wire (Yellow)can connect to fuse150.

#150 is an always-on fuse. #143 is an ignition only one.

Edit: Don't rely on Colour; I just installed my hardwire kit from Blackboxmycar and the ACC was Yellow while BATT was Red. It was clearly labelled though.

My 2013 F30 had a battery failure. I successfully jump started the car. Had numerous issues after jump starting:
Speedometer not working
Warning Messages - Drive Train Failure, Air Bag Malfunction, etc
Turn Signals would not turn off after completing turn.
Drove to dealer and they changed battery but all the problems remain. Dealer is still troubleshooting.

Has anyone ever experienced this type of issue and could it be a simple case of blown fuse or fuses.

I have a 2013 F30 sedan xdrive. I got a message saying ‘rear brake light malfunction’. So I went and replaced the brake light bulb but it still won’t work. I’m guessing I gotta change the fuse. But I don’t know which fuse is it and where is it located. I have seen the diagram but can’t tell which one is the brake light fuse. can some one help me out?

12V Adapter

I have a 2018 F32 430 hard top convertible, and the 12V adapter has stopped working. I've checked fuse 66, 69 and 162 and they all seem fine. Any other ideas?

Update: The outlet under to the left of the underside of the glovebox works fine, but the problem is with the adapter. Apparently this socket requires a long adapter. A different adapter works fine.

Mirror Gps and Double Cam

Hello !!

https://es.aliexpress.com/item/4000351610321.html

I want to mount this device in the mirror of my BMW E92

It can be done in two ways, in the lighter socket or directly in the fuse box.

The question is to know where to connect it in the fuse box so that the battery is not discharged.
I would like it to work only when starting the car !!

I have seen the post of the assembly of your GPS, but it is an old thing.

Maybe you could help me.

thanks

Cool Always LIVE Fuse for Dashcam hardwire

hey guys,
can you tell me which fuse is always live? (I am mounting an AUTOVOX D6 PRO and I want to hardwire it directly to the fuse box). I can only use the small fuses, because that's the cabling I received.

The fuses in green are:
103,104,120,124,125,127,128,130,132,135
143,146,147,148,150,151,152,153,154,159

Can you tell me which ones are always live?

Exclamation Always LIVE Fuse for Dashcam hardwire

I think I found it:
The following fuses are constant 12V: 100, 103, 104, 106-109, 112-114, 116, 117, 120, 123, 149, 150, 160, & 161

The following fuses are on AND off with ignition: 143-148, & 154 (143 is the one where I added the OEM terminal above)

The remaining fuses are on with ignition and then remain on for ~10 min after the ignition is turned off, and then turn off.

can anyone confirm? I would like to use 150, or 103, 104 .. good idea?

I'm also looking for "Always LIVE Fuse for Dashcam hardwire", thanks in advance. This thread does not have answer, does "always-on fuse" even exist?

Just for general knowledge, in a 2015 F33, fuse 162 is for the cigarette lighter outlet in the trunk (boot), fuse 66 is for the cigarette lighter outlet in the compartment in front of the gear shift, fuse 69 is for the cigarette lighter outlet under the glove box and the cigarette lighter outlet in the rear of the center console (rear seat access). On my F33 there is no fuse in #70 under the hood (bonnet), just a space (six fuses in that line instead of seven as shown in the diagrams.

Lost Horizon, can you help me determine which fuse would be for the driver's brake light/turn signal? Thanks in advance!

Brake lights aren’t powered by a fuse…they are under the control of the REM (rear electronics module).
