Well that explains why I don't see too many Scots, ginger or otherwise, when I'm in Vegas. Oh, this is at 7pm with some storms nearby, hence the high humidity.

We were out in Vegas two to three weeks ago when it hit 116. The rental car said 120. It was definitely hot. But it is a comfortable dry heat. We are at least used to that heat living in Louisiana.

I noticed the high humidity. It was a lot less when we there. We usually see much higher humidity at hone.

Stay cool.

I can't remember whether it was our 2017 trip to Scotland or the one before, probably both, but we had upper 80's in Edinburgh. We stayed in Edinburgh in a flat we rented just off the royal mile. Had a blast. Edinburgh was definitely hot. Coming from Louisiana it was comfortable and a bit cool, but when my Father in Law was alive and had his flat in Edinburgh I always enjoyed our summer trips since it was so much cooler than the States and always felt like fall to me. Now as we went north towards Fort William and Inverness to visit my wife's cousins that last two times, it certainly cooled off. I think it was hot the last two times I was in Scotland. I guess it was the early trip that I am thinking about in this sense, since only in the early trip did we really head north. Once we left the cousins and that area of the highlands behind, we headed up to Stornoway to visit my wife's uncle. From the ferry ride which was great and the cool weather in Stornoway, we had fun, but it was like winter for us.

Enjoy the weather. Stay cool and use lots of sun block. I know it is hot, but just think that many of us over here, it gets hot in May and stays like that through October.

Cheers,
