I was driving in manual mode last night and decided to use the paddle shifters. My left paddle (downshift - paddle) decides it wants to only upshift. Both paddles are now upshifting. Anyone run into this before? I have a service appointment this Friday.

Yes. Coincidentally enough, I did. Here's my write up on it:

That being said, did you manually install the shifters or did they come with your car? Either way pretty sure it's a malfunctioning circuit on the shifter itself.

The paddles were installed when I purchased the car.

Still think it's a circuit issue for reasons I mentioned in my thread. But let me know what the dealer says, I'm interested!

Will do. I'm hoping it's a hardware issue like it was in your case. Seems easy enough to fix. Thank you for the information.
