I fixed my light load bucking by using CRC MAF sensor cleaner. I've had the BMS intake or K&N panel filter for 60,000km and there was a slight amount of oil film on the sensor. I had tried a number of other things like putting cat heating back on ect, but the MAF cleaning seemed to fix it up almost entirely. I always drive in comfort or dcs off, this phenomenon might be worse for folks who use sport and sport + throttle.

Friday morning. And yeah I did waiting for response. Not knocking them I know it's only test 1. Driveability is hard to dial in when making good power.

OK cool. Just trying to figure out if they sent me the same map they sent you or if they tweaked it a bit.

My SA just called me and is willing to do my VRSF DP installation but I'm wondering if I should flash back to stock and lock DME beforehand. What do you guys think?

PWG FBO stage 2, new stock gapped plugs right from BMW.

Im currently experiencing a rough idle only for about 15-20 seconds, other then that it seems to drive pretty smooth. I do notice sometimes when I go hit the gas the power comes all at once rather then a smooth transition, no bucking or anything like that.

Am I able to just use the same plugs and increase the gap from .018" to .024"?

So I flashed back to stock and locked DME for tomorrows DP install... Quick question though. In the "About" section of BM3 i still see "DME is Unlocked" in red. I clicked on "Flash to stock and lock DME" and it was successful. Not sure if this is just a bug or by design. Anyone know?

If your dealer is going to install a catless DP on your car, what flags are you concerned about?

SA is my friend and said he'd run it through some basic checks to see if they see anything. DP installed and nothing came up on the radar. Flashed stock and locked DME last night before today's appointment. Just trying to get some real world information out there to those who aren't lucky enough to be cool with an SA. Not looking to be flamed.

I flashed and unlocked DME back, this time to stage 2 AGG 93 octane and oh boy this car is a monster. Sounds amazing. Little bit of a smell when stopped at a light or in traffic but not too bad.

Just a piece of info... If you guys flash back to stock and lock DME and are attempting to reflash and unlock AFTER service, make sure to choose the option flash and unlock (troubleshooting). I thought that since my DME was locked the agent would have known to unlock again. I mistakenly hit flash tune and it failed because my DME was locked. Car wouldn't start. I then flashed and unlocked (troubleshooting) and everything worked fine. Hope this information helps.

I have just tested a map from Halim and it is WAY better on the throttle issue with an added bonus of improved boost control. Not quite there yet but a big step in the right direction.

Thanks to Halim@HCP and proTUNING Freaks for picking this up so fast

I echo harkes 's words. Halim's map of last Sunday brings back the stock smoothness, at least so does my butt say for the past 3 days. I was specific to death in requesting such throttle changes in the ticket.

I seriously doubt everyone else got the same calibration as mine, because there is something in it that I asked and that "will not work for every car" according to Halim, our mighty master tuner.

Trust me, when I say smoothness, it's much more than average guy making random comments. I'm super picky and discerning. And there is no better place than in Shanghai's world class traffic to test drivability. Try beat me, average pace <15kph(9mph) for 20k km, including of course track days and highway miles.

Yet to datalog the partial throttle but will do.

BTW do not confuse all of these with anything from WOT log. Different things.

Thanks gents! I have asked Halim if he can send me a Stage 2 93 AGG test MAP with these changes so I can test as well.

Quick question... In BM3 under Transmission, the "GTS Transmission Flash" is only for M vehicles? Us F30 guys can't flash this transmission software to our vehicles right?

Good news! Hopefully, this will propagate out to the OTS maps.

Everybody else have their boost drop down to anywhere between 11 and 13.5 psi in 3rd and 6th gear?
