Hi all,

There are two settings I am looking for that I did a while back. BMW reset all my coding now can't remember the right place for it. The two settings are:

1. When opening door turn off the NBT (Radio)
2. On the Tacho/Kombi I had the time (HH:MM) on the bottom right hand corner

Could anyone point me to where these two are?

Hi all,

I'm a relative newbie when it comes to coding (I've done some fdl coding of parameters in Esys and Esys Pro but done nothing else).

I have a 2016 F30 330e with idrive 4 and NBT-EVO. I installed a Bimmer-Tech amp last year and the HU was coded to "Hi-Fi" from the basic amp by Bimmer-Tech. I now want to undo this so I can move the amp to my new G20.

Can anyone please help me please with instructions on what I need to do to recode the HU back the basic amp using Esys please?

Hi deveryone!
Need help. I can not understand.
When encoding a bmw f36 lci from USA, I change the following encodings:
In Salapa remove option 853 and add 6UD, encode Kombi and Hu_nbt2. After that I encode the FDL:
radio_country from "us" to "ece"
fm_deemphasis from "75us" to "50us"
anzeige_freq from "activ" to "nicht_activ"

After all this, nbt and kombi switch to Russian, Even radio frequencies appear, but the radio stops playing. Bluetooth is working, but the radio does not play, there is no sound. I return the FDL encoding back to US and everything starts working, only there are no even radio frequencies. What am I doing wrong? Please, help!

I did some coding a few weeks ago with Bimmercode. Simple things, including folding mirrors automatically on locking the car.

Maybe it is a noob question and i could not find it in any thread, but is this coding only applicable to the key in use while doing the actual coding?

Every time i close the car, the mirrors fold, but with my wifes key they don't?

Some coding is linked to Driver Profile / Key Fob. Recode again with her Profile / Key Fob Active.

Thankful for this community. Have my enet cable on the way. Researching ahead of time. Seems my plan of using VMware on my MacBook will require some more workarounds or have to resort to bootcamp.
