Headlight Inserts / Fog Light Trim

Apologies if this has been discussed in another thread, have had a trawl but not found anything so far.

Anyway, looking to see if anyone has modified either the headlight inserts or the trim piece mounted to next the fog lights in terms of colour. Marked up on attached photo the bits I am meaning.

I am contemplating changing both to black but not sure if it is a 'paint it where it is' job, if you can replace them easy enough after market or if it is one of those pain in the ass jobs that isn't worth the hassle / time / money to do. Have a spray painter in the family but would be easier to do it at home rather than travel to get him to do it.

Have swapped the grilles out for gloss black already and looking to make these parts black as well (i.e. as much of a black front end as I can).
