Learned from last year and did the 2 cars in subsequent weekends instead of within 1 day 😊

Yes. I'm using an impact driver. If I had a lift, it would be faster and easier.

Of course my car is easy, 17mm. (bmw)
My daughter's car is easy, 19mm. (Impreza)
My ex-wife's car is hard. 23mm for summer, 19mm for winter so it takes longer and her wheels/tires are heavier (Camaro)

Any brand you can recommend?

I’m using my old Milwaukee M18 Fuel that’s served me well for years. Battery’s still holding up. I got all three cars done on one charge. And it still had power left.

I saw this online and might get it for emergency roadside use:

Wagan EL2257 12V DC Mighty Impact Wrench, 1/2 inch 12 Volt Electric Impact Wrench Kit

I usually do the initial loosening per hand, then (electrical) impact driver. Or directly impact, if I was the last one to mount them.

Tighten them with impact to 110Nm, then per hand up to 130-140 Nm.

Nearly a full interior detail. Turned out alright considering beige is pretty tough to keep clean.

Hi everyone, was in the market for some news mats for my F31. The M performance offerings from BMW, were not only expensive but also a bit dull I thought . So after a bit internet searching ordered a set of these. Must say over the moon with them. Total coverage front and rear- advertised as scratch and water resistant.
A slight mistake was made over the transmission tunnel, as they picked measurements for saloon model. But currently sending me complete redo. Cant ask for more really.

^Your pic reminded me I was gonna do the rear fog light mod today. Successfully modified the switch, but then when I went to code, my Lightning to ENET cable broke. Waiting on a replacement from Amazon now.

Crap. Now I want these. Not sure if they have them for LHD. I may have to stop coming here for a while, it's getting expensive.

Oof that's a task! Do you use a car lift or floor jack?

I wish I had a lift. My boss lives 2 miles away and has a lift in his garage but he’s been out sick so I did it all with two floor jacks.

And I triple checked each tire since they’re directional (yeah someone ran a season with tires on the wrong side a few years ago )

Well I do it with single floor jack every year... Twice a year, 2 cars. That's not a problem at all. Lift is an overkill just for that, but of course if you have it anyway.

And don't worry - I know someone who once drove a couple of weeks with a unique staggered setup - the 2 wider tires on the right side of the car, the narrower - on the left. Don't ask.....

Oil & filter change with 140k+ miles on the clock. Noticed the European Formula Castrol available at my local Walmart is 5W-30 now. Used to be 0W-40. In any case, still lists LL-01 certification on the back.

Was going to rotate my tires too, but got tired and didn't want to do a full on jack stand lift so I might just take it to America's Tire for a free rotation & air pressure adjustment.

Lol, they do both LHD as well. There is an online configurator to show you end result. I think there is an US store.

Full waxing. Took just over 4 hours continuous work (with the car already thoroughly washed and prepped).

I enjoy car detailing but do not comprehend how some manage (and enjoy) to wax every couple of weeks or even couple of months!? They are either doing it sloppy or literally have nothing elso to do or enjoy...!?

Damn man - 4 hours?!?!

I can do a full exterior wash and wax in 90-105 mins. And if I do a spray wax more like 60-75 mins
