Hi everyone,

Any advices how I could remove those marks from car paint at home? I had similar yellowish marks on rims as well and I removed it with thing which is called hydrochloric acid (could be wrong). But I think it would damage car paint.

I use Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover, if that is not available in your area get something similar:

If something is still left after that then next to try is clay or mildly abrasive polishing product.

Stoner's Tarminator is also a good tar/asphalt removal product if available.

OP, there's a reason why the forum allows you to state your location. If you need location specific advise and you're in Katmandu a reply from Ulaanbaatar won't do you much good.

The yellowish things look like iron deposits (probably from the brakes) sitting on the paint and then rusting. Something like Bilt Hamber Korrosol (look for iron/fallout removers on a local detailing suppliers for an equivalent) will remove that easily enough and isn't anything to worry about. It's always more prominent on white and silver cars.

Status update:
Ok, so I haven't found "Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover" or "Stoner's Tarminator" at any local shop so instead of that I tried "CarPro TarX". It was quite disappointing. It took like 2 hours and a lot of scrubbing to remove all those tar marks. But I believe it is not only product fault. Those tar marks were quite big.

As for those metal fallouts I was able to get "Bilt Hamber Korrosol". It was amazing. Just like in those Youtube videos: sprayed all over my car, it became pink and after power washing it looks as new. But I had to do it twice to get it off those small gaps.

All that work took some time but it was soooo worth it. My car looks so shinny and clean. Again, thank you everyone!
