Anyone have a cordless polisher?

Thinking about going wire free. Too often the wire slips off my shoulder and I have to start again.

How long does the battery last on them anyway?

The only cordless polishers I've seen are from Flex and they're $500+ I couldn't see spending that kind of money on a polisher I only use a couple times of year. I even had a hard time spending the $250 for my new Griots G15.

While it is important to keep track of your cord while polishing to make sure it doesn't mar the paint while you're working, I wouldn't get too hung up on keeping it always over your shoulder. When sitting and working lower panels like doors and fenders, I don't even bother with putting the cord over my shoulder. I let it hang to provide better maneuverability.

I have the Adam's Polishes cordless polisher. Lasts about half an hour per charge. Batteries are rechargeable and it comes with two batteries, so you don't have to worry about charging while in the middle of a job.

Do yourself a favor and save some $$$, put the cable around other side of the neck and it wont slip off

I have the Shinemate EB351 cordless DA polisher, battery last me about an 45-60 mins depending on the machine's speed. I always have a spare battery so i can replace it when one of them dies and proceed to charging the dead battery. This way I can go around the car switching the batteries with no downtime.

Cordless tools have come such a long way and yet there is no substitute (sometimes) for a corded tool. The problem with my cordless polisher is the battery is so large and heavy, it really makes it more difficult to control. I'll use it in a small area but if I'm working on a large panel, I still reach for my corded machine.
