To those of you who upgraded from cast to forged wheels... is the weight savings significant enough to notice? Any thoughts on the strength increase?

I really like these Avant Garde M310s... The price is great (compared to forged wheels) and the quality is supposed to be among the best of any cast wheels

As far as forged wheels, these BBS RGR are relatively reasonably priced ~800/wheel), and they look pretty good - but I prefer the more concave spoke look of the cast Avant Garde M310s to the deep dish/flat spoke look of the RGRs.

Thoughts?

Whats a good offset for a 328i?

Hey just wondering what the ideal offset, and size rim I should go for with my 2013 328i, planning on getting H and R super sport springs so don't want too much. gap.
Thanks

Here's my stock 397's plastidipped. That stuff is really durable; had it on for 6mo and it still looks fresh.

And here's what I'm running now. Beyern (By TSW) Spartans - 19"x 8.5" et30 shod with 245/40-19 rubber. The Spartans are part of their Rotary Forged line are are reasonably light 19's.

Nice!
Did you weigh the wheels? Just curious what "reasonably" light is.

I didn't weigh the wheels, but was thinking about doing this last night. I actually have an extra wheel, so maybe I'll hop on my bathroom scale w/o it, then hop on while I hold it. May not be the most accurate but it'll probably be close. Beyern officially lists the weight as 22lb for the 19x8.5 et30.

looking good! What are your tire specs front and rear specifically? Those wheels sure fill up the wheel wells. You are on stock suspension right?

Hey this may be a stupid question but, I see a lot of people here getting front 19x8.5 and
rear 19x9.5. Do these sizes fit perfectly? Is that the best setup right now for F30s?
