Fantastic build OP, I wouldn't change a thing myself.

Out of curiosity (as I can relate), how long do you think you'll drive the 340 before you move up to the M3?

I started out with a Luxury 328 and presently converting to an M Sport. I too will be going to an M3 "next".

Max tq: 393.04
Temperature: 90F around 11:30am

I can't say I'm happy with the max hp figures but the tq figures seem very good. This was with 91 octane and I can't help but think how much difference using 93 octane would have made

It is a long time indeed... but looks like it will be worth it!

In looking at the pictures you have on the first page of the thread, I presume the pictures shown with the 442M wheels are on stock suspension (adaptive)?

I'm trying to get a good idea of what stock ride height is so I can prepare accordingly.

Having driven both the 340i and m3, I couldn't daily drive the m3, I would lose my mind. Rides a bit too harsh for the bad roads I drive on and exhaust a little too loud for daily use... that 340 has serious power that you can put down, I'd never get the chance to properly use the m3's power..

Maybe you guys live in an area where you can more easily get what you want out of the m3 or plan to track it?

"Serious power" is relative to what you have or had, if you drove a fiat 500 before, then 320hp is more than three times what you had, and I'd consider that serious power.
The decrease in power from 425hp (m3) to 320hp (340) is a decrease of 25% hp, not as drastic as you made it sound.

Tune+exhaust+intake, you can easily hit 400hp on the 340. Maybe Dallas has long stretches where you can use 425, but not here lol.

hi, awesome build. Did you ever figure out what this sound was? I've had a 330i for about 6 months and noticed this sound for the first time. Came home after driving it in sports mode for a while and this same beeping noise was on after I just turned the car off.

I bought these from a guy with an M4. They have two finishes (black/silver) I opted for Black for some contrast with my AW. I paid $1700 for them used!

I like the looks, seats, CF interior trim, M Badge, extra hp/tq, better brakes and suspension...etc lol
