There are two situations here:
1) you have a 2013 335is that has an N54 which is a different motor and forum really.
2) you have a 2013 335i single twin scroll turbo. Which this would be the right place.

What do you have.

Already answered. He said his engine cover says twin power turbo.

As others have mentioned, BOV is moot for the N55. You can get a decent amount of induction noise from an intake, but our cars use a diverter valve that recycles the built up pressure back into the manifold (or at least that's how I understand it). BOV releases to the atmosphere, hence the "PSHHH" or "side of extra rice STUTUTUTU". If you absolutely MUST have a BOV just cuz it's turbocharged, well, good luck. Interested to see how you'll make it work.

I have a CTS turbo intake and can hear very noticeably the DV dump pressure, so get an open intake if you want the sound. No BOV on these cars.

Feel any loss of torque on the low end of the rpm range?

Not that I can tell but I'm running a stage 2 bm3 tune so hit 400 ft-lbs of wheel torque by 2800 rpm per the dyno

While very true, keep in mind that's a full throttle and high load (i.e., low rpm with full throttle while in a tall gear). What's it feel like when just driving around town at light throttle and minimal boost? It's been my experience with lots of intakes over the past two decades that this is where most intakes feel like crap, especially turbo cars, because they make the low end feel a bit soft and laggy (more so in hot temps).

In all honesty, I've been running the CTS intake for so long I can't remember what it was like with the stock intake. I can tell you though that in daily driving I have no lack of torque.

Rubi76474 , you don't like the stock blowoff valve? The "psssspheeewwww..." sound. GFB valve will give you the "pphhffffssssss!" sound. Add a tune first, you will hear the blowoff valve more pronounced. FYI - if you do "catless" downpipe w/o the tune (which can auto delete cat monitoring), you will get the annoying engine CEL.
does anyone have a video of a comparison of both the GFB and the Intake sound?

If you truly want to drive the car you need better suspension and wayyyyyyy more front camber. I autocross my car all of the time and the suspension is the cars weak point not power. JB4, catless DP, VSRF race FMIC makes gobs of power. But without better suspension and a LSD you'll never be able use the power other than the highway. Dispite my 245x40 Bridgestone RE-71R's up front there's still not enough bite.

Coilovers
Camber plates
LSD
Sways

Then add

Chargepipe
JB4 or Bootmod (My vote to bootmod. Its just better)
FMIC
Downpipe.
335is/550 clutch
E85 (FREE UPGRADE)
PS2 Turbo if you can swing it.

We've established he has a single twin-scroll. However, to my knowledge, the 335iS (E92) kept the N54 even when the rest of the 335i (non-i.s.) models switched to the N55. So feasibly, since the E92 335is was available as a 2013 model (pre-4 series release), one could have a 2013 twin turbo 335is.

Clarification note: 335is is not notated as the plural form of 335i in this post.

Thanks for the clarification.
I would still change title of thread to thwart confusion.

*the blow off valve as you say... is also referred to as a diverter valve and the most popular choice is GFB (Go Fast Bits)... go to their site and enter your vehicle to get the part number. Not going to make your car "faster" per se but may increase throttle response as the build quality is FAR superior to OEM plastic and most importantly includes a spring that allows the valve to snap close and maintain boost pressure between shifts.
This is how you reply to a post!!!

Nice Job!!!

I have the twin scroll. I was confused on BMW terminology. But I have been working non stop to get parts. What I am interested is where to buy my charge pipes and intercooler and exhaust. I would really like to get a blow off valve but idk if that’s even going to help or make a difference from the diverted valve

Not sure if you read all the replies, but a BOV on an N55 will not only NOT help, it will likely cause issues. To repeat all the recommendations in this thread, let the BOV thing go. Your car doesn't want it.
