Question Coding Door Mirrors to fold on lock?

Does anyone know the parameters to code so the door mirrors folding on lock (without holding lock button) please? It's not in the cheat sheet!

I'd suggest having it fold on holding lock so you can choose when to fold them. If they fold every time then you will wear the motor a lot quicker?

I had my old E91 for five years and folded mine every time I got out of the car, the motors were fine.

Agreed. Had them on my old BImmer as well and they lasted throughout. I remember my old SA saying that the key was to keep the area where the mirror moves clean of dirt and salt. I never heeded that too much and it lasted fine.

So it is in the cheat sheet but it's listed as Convenience Closing! I hope it doesn't automatically close the windows too?

Here's my list from way back - mirror folding is a werte value change rather than an on/off.

They'll fold now but only after holding the button for ages which then closes the roof/windows.

If you change the werte vale (mine went from 0F to 03) it reduces the delay on the button press. So I can tap to lock or hold for half a second or so to lock and fold. It's the best of both worlds.

Lol, as I said above I want it as a visual indication that the car is locked, which wouldn't work if you can lock the doors without the mirrors folding.

Exactly the same here. Quick press locks, a fractionally longer hold of the button folds

Mine is coded to fold instantly on lock and I also have the beep on lock coded (which can be turned on and off in idrive once coded). That for me is best of both worlds. I walk away from the car and press lock with fob still in my pocket and know it has locked from the beep or I can look out the window for a visual check if needed.

I folded the mirrors on my e90 every time I locked it for almost 10 years and the motors are still going strong. Never had them freeze either

This is exactly what I have done and agree it is best of both worlds to confirm the car is locked.

You only hear the beep if all doors/tailgate are closed & locked although the mirrors fold straight away.
