Cost to get coilovers installed on a F30?
I'm in the Fort Worth/Dallas, TX area.
Trying to get a price range on how much it would cost to get coilovers installed on the car?

It varies by area. In Southern California, seems like majority of the shops charge anywhere from $300-$500 Got my coilovers installed within that range.

Not sure about rates over there but my indy charged me for 4 hours of labor at $100. His usual rate is $85, $15 extra if you don't buy the parts through him.
I did pay $250 at a different place for corner weight balancing and alignment. Alignment alone was $75 at that place. You could probably skip the corner weight balancing, more useful for track and racing. Also, depending on the miles on your car you might want to replace the shock mounts, at least in the front. Lemforder ones are cheap, they are the same as OEM without BMW branding. My car has 48k miles, I replaced the front mounts but when I checked out the older mounts they were in perfect condition, at least visually. |
