Hello, does anyone here have experience with HU NBT EVO failed bootloader?
my EVO failed while flashing the bootloader, now when i power it on it just cooler fan is blowing full speed, and i can't see it in ista or esys, so as i know i have to connect it directly with putty, but i don't know any commands to execute.

can anyone help me with that info?
ofcourse i'm willing to pay for valuable info
i have bench setup, tomorrow will get UART adapter.

Did you solve It out? I have same problem.. i have USB uart and tried already with putty

try pinging 169.254.199.99 - if no response then you have issues, otherwise it should flash with esys

i can still ping at 169.251.199.99 if i open transmitter i can send hard reset and the evo reboots i can read actual state bootloader etc..so the connection it's good.. i tried to flash but It fails.. i cant even see the hu in esys when i read ECU..tried with oabr to rj45 and with zgw via uds..but i still dont see the hu in esys..the fun full Speed i think because of the missing bootloader dump..can you help?

Which version of esys and psdzdata are you using?

You likely can recover it if you have HU Engineering Tool or the newer version of HU Tool. Happened to me when hacking an evo id4 to id6. Just sent the command to fully wipe the unit and boot loader, then reflashed the completely wiped unit. If you don’t have the tools to try with you may be able to find someone on here willing to send you a remote command execution with hu engineering tool.

hello RuleNormaliai,trying to send you pm for an eys coding that i will need on a vehicle but bimmer forum not allows it ,perhaps because i am new user.
If you can help i will appreciate it and also with a fee.
Have ista+,esys,charger on vehicle and teamviewer.

When programming a vehicle with HU-H2 NBTEvo, a note is displayed about a HU-H2 programming failure.
Model series affected:
Vehicles F0x, F1x, F2x, F3x, F4x, F5x, F6x, F8x, F90, G0x, G1x, G3x, I01, I1x, RRx with HU-H2.
Measure / Workaround:
1) Follow the note and carry out the repair measure (service function) for the HU-H2. This can take up to 20 minutes.
2) Calculate and execute measures plan.
Pay attention to final work.

HU-H2s from a limited production period are affected by the fault. Please observe PuMA measure 64862978.
