I agree. im pretty sure I was leaving at the wrong RPM. I was launching at 2k and I need to leave probably around 3k so my turbo is fully spooled.
what do you think I should run the 1/4 mile in with my mods? I haven't dyno it yet. but the description of the turbo said with the Epic tune and MHI turbo I should have 400hp. plus other mods I'm thinking I have around 440 crank hp. thoughts? |

yeah 300whp sounds more realistic. once I get it dyno I'll post up results. 13.0 seems doable if I iron out my launch. 12's if i get sticky tires..... hopefully??? I'm not sure how aggressive the tune is. maybe I'll reach out to Epic and ask em questions. |

And yah, I would definitely reach out to whoever tuned the car and ask them, at the very least, what the boost, timing, and air/fuel targets are.

I didn't see a thread on the newer B46 330s anywhere so I'd figure I'd post our numbers for reference. My dad's 2017 Sportline 330i. Stock except for 19" F32 M-Sport wheels and JB+ at max setting. The drag strip run was with a really strong headwind, so maybe another mile or two is possible. I once trapped it 102 with the dragy. Also attached are best runs on the street with the dragy. And for people wondering if the dragy is accurate, it sure is! I ran it concurrently on my 550i and it ran within a thousandth of a second and 0.1mph

Didn’t used launch control here, just floored it. E50 was used of course.

Went to the track today. Time is on the left 13.7. Just trying it out, nothing to expect. Grip vs street vs track is life changing. Was afraid to launch the car and break things.
I didn't find out that bm3 had coded in launch control for the 6MT until after I left. Tried it a couple times and wow what a difference on the street/parking lot. Bm3 appears to have 3 levels of launch control. 3100, 3300, 3600 and stops at 4000. Just hold clutch all the way down in sport + and mash the gas. I Should be deeper into the 13s and run faster. Some cars are getting 13.1,13.2 with less mods. Next time I know what to expect so maybe I can break 12. Gearing seems a little more difficult as I hit 102-103mph in 3rd gear with about 80-100 feet to the end of the track but it's too short to shift into 4th. Didn't think to flat foot shift into 4th at the time. Perhaps with a better launch and 60' this can happen. Either way, had fun, learned more about the car on this grippy surface. 2013 328i 6MT FBO stage 2 E30 blend.

Good day all,
Could we start accepting dragy results as all other platforms recognize them? B58/S58 ect. I believe we will get more people on leaderboard that way and also there are COVID restrictions for track and people who do not have an official track. Regards, Shane |
