Please Help
Hi guys,
I have two scenarios I currently own a 2017 440i that has extended warranty until March 2021 Scenario 1 : Get MPPSK installed and re-extend warranty in March for another year Scenario 2 : Get a resonator delete, back box mod, install catless downpipe and intake and tune with bootmod3, and obviously don't extend the warranty. Not sure what I should do Thanks |

If your happy with the car the MPPSK will be a nice add on, keeps the warrenty intact, if your feeling the car "under performs" and can afford to fix expensive things should the go wrong go route 2......
Also worth noting if your cars on tick and not technically yours be careful of how you select , there is a small risk that if your car ever go's in to bmw for something they will see the mods and could potentually contact bmw finance and youll be left with needing to foot the bill for the whole car..... |

If you prefer dealer service and don't have time to wrench on the car, option 1. If you do like to wrench on the car or have a trusted indy shop to do work, option 2

I guess the questions boils down to are you happy with the power? Because if you're happy with the power then just get the MPPSK and the glorious noises will keep you happy... Scenario 2 is faster... and that's good too :-D

Thank you for the advice guys, I can get MPPSK installed for £1700 with carbon tips here in the UK, but I'm leaning towards the other option. B58s are quite reliable so what's the chances of something going wrong

I'm at 58K miles with a significant mod list and no issues. As long as your tune is reasonable and you don't beat the living shit out of the car every single day, you should be fine. It's the guys really pushing limits or street racing every night that are twisting up driveshafts and blowing up stuff.
