Went fbo and car started stalling

Hi. I got a 2016 435 and I recently just installed CTS dp, AA fmic, bms chargepipe and changed spark plugs to colder step 2 gapped at 0.022. A day or so after, I got a 102001 Air mass too high code and it stalled twice for me at a stop.

Do you guys think a leaky chargepipe would be at fault for this?

I also cleaned the maf sensor too.

You've got a fairly significant vacuum leak. Check your charge pipe and intercooler connections.

Most likely explanation. You also changed several variables at once so be prepared to go back through everything you touched to verify correct installation and operation. (This is why you usually want to do one mod at a time incase an issue pops up).

Air mass too high does suggest you are leaking out metered air under boost, so IC-CP or CP-TB connections are most probable, also TIC-IC although that one is usually less likely to leak with stock TIC. You could have also messed up the MAF, because that is likely a MAF-related code.

Thanks for the input!! I'm actually looking through it again and thinking perhaps I have to change my o rings.

Does the tmap have any fault in this?

I didn't think it's my maf sensor because I was fine before the fbo. But popped up after installing all the parts.

Just a update:

At first I realized that the chargepipe's old o rings weren't transferred to the new chargepipe. So I ordered new ones and installed them today. I drove test it around for an hour and the same codes popped up again. I'm not entirely sure on what was wrong. I didn't experience stalling yet but the car seems to be idling weird. When parked, the car sometimes idle to 1500 and come back down again. The car is still stock tuned and I double checked the TMAP, MAF sensor, vacuum lines and the CP-IC, CP-TB, T-IC connections.

You think my plugs might have something to do with it? It was my first time gapping the plugs but I made sure to not touch the electrode. :T

I am currently on Injen Intake. But when my car was fully stock, I installed the Injen Intake, drove for a week and the car was perfectly fine with no issues. So thats why I ruled at the intake.

Is there anyway I can test for leaks? I heard someone say to spray soapy water on it or something. I will bring in the car tmr to a dealership and see what they will say.

I describe how to build your own pressure tester in this thread: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=25343308
