Is there any difference between the US and JDM bumpers for the F32?

I recently shipped my US spec car from the states to Japan and I'm currently prepping for my inspection so that I can register the car in JP. I was informed that some cars have differences in bumpers due to regulations and I was told that I would possibly need to switch to Japanese bumper. However after a few online searches I don't see the difference. Am I missing something.

The pictures I've seen of the JDM version cars I don't like the way they look. Once you find out update us for those that are curious. I would imagine its a headlight or safety standard thing if any
