Current 17x7.5 225/50r17 squared.

Upgrade? 18 x 8.5 225/40/18 offset 30 Front
18 x 9.5 265/35r18 offset 35 Back

Would this work? TireSize told me it adds 1.5" width to the back. 0.67" width to the inside. Is this too close to frame/suspension? Pics attached...

edit: I am buying 3rd party lightly used so can't really change to oem spec...

Why are you not going with the stock sizes for 18s? (225/45 and 255/40) Wheel size/offsets are fine/very common for these cars.

I am buying 3rd party lightly used. I'll include that in post. Not really an option to change tire sizes. Any issues?

are you Xdrive? if so you'll want to keep the front and rear circumferences within 1%. a better setup for 8.5 and 9.5 wide wheels would be a 235/45/18 and 265/40/18 (unless you are lowered)

It'll work, the speedo may be a bit off most likely. Nothing to be concerned about from a technical perspective as long as you're RWD.
