I asked the same thing of the seller I had purchased from. I did not contact Autotecknic or anything to verify, just took the seller's word for it. If there are additional pictures you want me to share, just let me know.

I have a pair of these installed on my car and they are definitely worth the price! I bought the cheaper carbon overlay from them and the clear coat bubbles up like the eBay ones that I bought. Autotecknic ended up offering me the dry carbon ones which have had no issues with the clear coat and are about a close to OEM as you can get. I paid over $220 for them from what I recall.

Edit: also Autotecknic just had a peelable silver sticker on the inside of the mirror covers. There wasn't anything stamped or printed on the covers themselves. Just FYI.

Typically these clip in. How come the posts are showing holes for screws?

These are like BMW OEM which use the posts with screws. There is a rumor that BMW had changed from clips because people were stealing them by ripping them off. I do not know if Autotecknic had used the clips before, but I do believe they had CF covers that stuck on with some type of adhesive. Dinan CF caps still use the clips your referencing.
