Horror crash in Danish racing

This weekend there was racing in the Danish DS3 Cup on the largest track in Denmark (Jyllandringen 2,3km) and it suddenly got very wet. This resulted in almost all cars loosing traction in the same corner. Luckily only a single driver had to go to the hospital and that was only for a control check.

looks like slicks aquaplaning.. any of them changed tires?

There are no tire changes during the race. The heat only lasts 15 min + the final lap so a tire change would result in a lost race.

They cancelled the heat. 11 out of 16 ended up in that corner. All drivers are btw reported OK today.

Wow, I have never seen anything like that. Amazing that there weren't any serious injuries.
