The physical replacement is easy, 15 mins each, tops. They pull out by hand.
Be extra careful with the fuel return clips on top. They can get fragile and break. Simply clean the bore if it's dirty, do not grind or anything invasive like that!!!! Original injector is lubed on the outside with some grease, you should do the same. Coding depends on what tools you have. It's as hard as typing in a few numbers and letters.

It's basically a registering the new code that is inscribed on the injector body, into the engine ecu with BMW diagnosis software.
Usually you can use ISTA-D or even Tool32. Some mobile diag apps may do it too. |
