It's not going to improve performance, but it will look cleaner.

Yes. This is what makes all the other intakes louder than BMS; they come with an intake pipe that removes the resonator. BMS finally has their own add-on.

Will not be louder with the stock airbox. I have the William's which is the exact same silicone elbow and it made no change in sound with the stock box.

I didn't even consider the stock airbox lol. I assumed everyone was running an intake for some reason.

Bad news. I opened the package and found that the finish on the inside of the tube is cracking and peeling off in multiple places.
I emailed BMS to ask if they have a good one they can send me or if I should just return this one for a refund. Let's see what they say...

Update.
Terry at BMS looked into this and followed up with me.
He acknowledged that the one I received was defective. But, unfortunately the batch they got is already sold out, so he couldn't send another immediately. He issued a refund instead.
I still want one, so I'll have to wait until they get another batch.

Excellent customer service from BMS!

Crap happens. It's how a vendor handles it that matters. And their response couldn't have been better!

I run a KN panel filter in my stock airbox and it defo made it louder.

BMS got another batch and sent me a new one.
The fit and finish on this one is good. It's a keeper.
And, BMS customer service has been great!
