Another question to you guys then; Have you guys had malfunctioning issues after installing the sport + mode? warning lights, all that stuff?

I am planning to install the DINAN suspension kit, will it affect the adding of sport + ???
what year is your car? the model and line dont really matter, but the software version in your car does. SAT can be programmed...but if you have an older software version it may be harder to do.

some people have experienced warning lights but went away after restarting

does it actually work to code the sport + into the car, or is just for looks? when you code are you basically installing information that wasnt there before or are you activating something that was blocked by bmw?

Has anyone successfully gotten launch control to work on a 320? Just curious. The 320 is looking to be the best bang for your buck bmw of the decade!

I had it coded, but I haven't had a chance (or a place) to try it out yet.

its not useless to code it. SAT will make your shifts (slightly) faster and more aggressive when in Sport mode

+1. I coded this on my car this weekend. No issues.

In addition to faster / sharper shifts in sport mode, it also adds Sport+ to the list of modes selectable by the mode button.

That's without the paddle shifters.

Full SAT is the paddles, a different shifter, and coding. I just did the coding.

I did SAT coding and car shifts like somebody kicks from behind. It is like smg shifting. I think this is not people talk about. I cannot say "sharper" it is more than that. It feels like there is a problem about transmission.
Is there anybody have an idea?

I've tried to code the SAT into my 116i sport , but it still drives the same and doesn't show s1,s2 etc when the gear selector is switched to the left. Is there anything i've missed? i've coded the following:

ICM Module/ 3000 Daten/ IcmKod_B_Sportlenkung/ verbaut

EGS/3000 Applikation -> Sportschalter_alt -> aktiv
EGS/3000 Applikation -> Sportschalter -> aktiv

ICM/IcmKod_B_S2TBA -> verbaut

Those are the right ones. Re-read the values from the car and make sure they took.

I code SAT as follows:

1. Change the FA option code 205 to 2TB.
2. VO Code ICM, EGS, and KOMBI.

This also adds the Sport+ display to the cluster.

My father has a 118i and I coded the SAT into his car becasue I added paddles and also wanted the sport+ mode. As many reported it was supposed to shift faster but it feels the same after coding.

I also don't notice any difference in Comfort mode.

Shifts may be a bit faster in Sport mode, but if it is faster, it's hardly noticeable.

Where the shifts are noticeably faster is when the transmission is in manual mode.

Since I don't have the paddles, manual shifting has to be done by the transmission selector. Changing gears this way is very noticeably faster.

The only other thing SAT gives you is Sport+ mode. I've verified it's selectable, but I've never actually used it.

Try shifting manually; you should notice a difference.

Tried it changes like it used to, shifts up when close to redline, would it matter that no 116s came with the 2tb?
