Here's the 17x9.5 35et 275/40 squared mounted on F30

No mods or tricks other than 3mm spacers and camber plates on front!

Forgiven, how are you doing on low speed noise these days? I just got mine installed yesterday and my initial experience matches yours.

I had some problems with mine. They were rattling and clunking at low to mid speeds (especially as the car would unweight coming over a bump), and making weird binding noises when steering at low speed. I took them off after my track weekend. Although now I REALLY miss the camber!
So you guys aren't having issues with noises with yours?

Please contact GC for this matter, I am not sure if you have received all the same parts as i did.
New parts that I have installed from GC was the speed bumps, new washers and bushings. Talk to Jay@groundcontrol.

Clunk sounds pretty bad, Did you find any bent washers when you took them out? Make sure you have the proper bushings from the GC. It should be in blue color.

Yeah, I've already contacted GC. I was curious if anyone else has had success here.

I have the same binding and rattling/clunking at low to mid speeds as DVC. Donovan at GC has asked me to verify strut nut torque and to take pictures.

Since I only received the bits yesterday (direct from GC) I assumed that I'd received the latest parts, and so didn't check for blue bushings. A shop (familiar with GC camber plates for other cars) did the installation for me.

I do get rattling sounds time to time but got a lot better than what it was. Blue bushings fixed the majority of noise and some other discrepancies.

Update: my spring perches are not rotating smoothly. They're binding a bit. The spring winds up and then pops bit by bit when turning lock to lock.

I found another issue of which those considering these plates should be aware: the stock strut tower braces won't fully clear the shank nut without a little work. Pushing the strut brace rearward and installing a couple of washers between the plate and the brace to elevate the end slightly should clear it up (looks to me like Forgiven may have done this).

Here's a pic of mine installed:

Note how far back I've pushed the brace to clear the nut. I'm not using washers.

Those using stock springs will likely not be able to use the full range anyway (owing to spring<=>tower interference).

.
I had this problem before -the blue ring/bushing from the pic should solve your problem.

Did GC suggest that the blue bushing was a special one-off thing for you or that they expected to use the blue bushings for everybody going forward?

Really appreciate the pics and detailed descriptions of addressing the issues, guys - hopefully this will work for me as well.

I spoke with GC today and they're really doing their best to make this come out right.

Current theory is that I've had an installation issue. GC is covering all the bases with replacement parts in case the issue is on their end.

I should know more in a few days.

On the side of good news: my car veritably rips into corners. Front end grip is great at -2.5deg camber.

Sweet, congrats. I hope I can get my M235i in shape for the Penultimate Autocross 11/15. If not, it's back to the M Roadster (now a somewhat consistent 2nd in class).

Sweet! Are you going to the BMW CCA SD? Isn't that on 9th? Seen a stock 228i at the event and thing was flying! Can't imagine what m235 would do..
