I recently removed the front differential from my 2015 F36 435i (part number: 31507590898 ?) and I'm concerned about the amount of play and metallic clicking noise when turning the pinion, as shown in the video https://streamable.com/4mqnlf.

Could someone please advise if this is normal behavior or if the differential may be faulty?
