Hi,
I tried coding FEMBODY today and when I clicked Code FDL Esys started to go through the procedure then threw the following error: Transaktions-Report: Aktion: FDL Codieren Abort! No more memory available! Please restart E-Sys with more memory. [C150] This is with Esys 3.23.4 and PsdZData 51.3 and a 2014MY F31. Laptop spec: 8Gb RAM, Windows 8 64-Bit, 76Gb free on C drive which is a SSD. Any help or advice? |

Thanks Shawn for the links and the advice on EDIBAS
sorry for all the stupid and annoying questions but I have ran into some trouble, when connecting to the car I have the network icon with the ! triangle and open e sys. When I click connect no chassis codes are appearing in the list. When unraring the data files WinRAR said something about an exception error, could a corrupt data file cause the connection list not to populate? I am coding a Dec 2013 build F30 does that matter? Cheers Chris |

I still can't get the side mirrors to fold with CA. I coded the following:
Fembody 3110 ASP_BEIKLAPPEN_BEI_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN (aktiv) Fembody 3110 ASP_AUSKLAPPEN_NACH_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN (aktiv) |

So I was wondering if there was a way to code the display of the DEF level for the 328d like the oil level or such. Thanks in advance

Is there a button on the driver door armrest to fold the mirrors? It's next to the side mirror selector switch. If you don't have the "fold" button, then you probably don't have the necessary hardware (motors) to fold the mirrors via CA or the fob. |

FEM_BODY 3053 Pwmaster KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB (aktiv) via fob FEM_BODY 3053 Pwmaster KOMFORT_SCHLIESSEN (Werte = xx) I set xx to be 03, this mean hold it for 3 sec for it to close with fob/CA. |

2. If they aren't there, then it's usually one of these: a. You are clicking on "Code" and not "Code FDL". "Code" resets the ECU to the factory defaults and ignores all of your changes. b. If you are using "Code FDL", then when the process is done, a results window is shown. Check the title and always verify that it says 0 Error(s). If there are errors, then your FDL coding didn't take. |

Ok... newbie here.. I swear I read a lot! But--
I have a 2014 328...I kinda get what to do.. page 1 has a lot of pdfs to read through... Sean, can I get the info sent to cowboys@mailinator.com for my car, tks! One question about backup and restoring - I read how to go through all the CAF types and allow the e-sys to create the files locally for backup... and to copy and paste them outside that folder to store... So, I get all this done, and I'm my way coding and saving... but the car goes in and the dealer does an update... What is the approach taken to restore my last coding changes? is it as simple as replacing the file in that c:\esysdata\ drive location with my backups? Thanks! |
