I have a set of 19 " Alufelgen SF-71's et in the rear is 35. front et 35
Dropped on H&R super sports so its pretty low. Going Hankook Evo12 Rear options: 1. 255/35 2. 265/35 Front options; 1. 225/40 2. 235/35 Last edited by rxander; 12-17-2012 at 12:38 AM.. Reason: 19" rims |

OEM diameter is 26". I checked on TireRack Hankook Ventus V12 Evo: 255/35/19 is 26". 26lbs. 265/35/19 is not listed. 265/30/19 is 25.3", too small. Next closest: 275/30/19 is 25.6", that could work. 27lbs. 285/30/19 is 25.8", but that's pretty wide. It needs a 9.5" min wheel. But I would think it would be too wide for the F30. Those weigh 29lbs. 225/40/19 is 26.1". 23lbs 235/35/19 is 25.5". 24lbs. Might be too small in diameter. 245/35/19 is 25.8". 26lbs. TireRack uses 245/40/18 on it's test F30 328i's. The width should work, and less prone to under steer. |

edited yes 19"
RPM90 just want a 'fatter' tire look vs recommended 19x8.5 235/35/19 and 19x9.5 265/30/19. I thinking of 225/40/19 and 255/35/19 Last edited by rxander; 12-17-2012 at 12:55 AM.. |

I would go with a 245.35.19 front and a 265.35.19 rear.
The 245s are 25.8" tall and the rears are 26.3" tall, as long as you are within .3" from OEM you will be fine. Dave

I do think the 245/35/19 would be good on the front. It's wider for the fatter tire look, and it will help with any under steer that the narrower tire may give. I went with 235/45/18 on my fronts, one size wider and .3" greater diameter. Works great so far. |

To the OP move on to a different brand that does have the sizes I recommend. A 265/30/19 is going to be way too small (diamater) to be a viable tire. I know people are using them, but it isn't correct. Dave

Didn't come in today I have the fronts just waiting on the PSS rears. Most likely monday will take a few pics. I'm a little pessimistic, but I think its worth a shot since the shop will exchange for free to 255/35 if 265/35 rubs.

How bad is the rubbing? Is it constant or only over bumps/turns?

Does it rub because of the offset of the wheel?

No the tire. 35 et in the rear is fine. I changed out to 255/35 Michelin and all is right again. |

I wonder if 265/30 would work since tire is not as tall. Also, got any full vehicle pictures with the SF-71s
