kept it at stock piping throughout. Imagine same diameter piping in place of where the muffler and resonator usually are, with some custom tips out the back. His car is louder on cold start than my car (although mine is nearly as loud), but my N52 straight six is much louder with revs.

I'll post mine tomorrow. I have an N26 328i with all stock except the MPE. Also wired the flap to always be open if that makes a difference. Curious to see the difference between it and stock via the numbers bc it's a noticeable difference.

Nice! I'm anxious for this one as well. We've already got a DP & MPE entry and a stock entry, so this will make for a good comparison.

F30 328i xDrive all stock with MPE. Flap wired open. Was able to get the same idle as you all with my phone touching the exhaust. I have noticed the MPE is only louder imo on a cold start and when revving. Idle is pretty similar but I thought a hair louder. Very curious why mine is lower. I was also in an open lot, 44 degrees, and a very light rain. Temps were at 205 when I stopped to run the test but by the end (only a few mins) I noticed temps were down to 180-190ish.

Also I have coded sport+ on my car if you guys would like me to test that. I'll be testing cold start soon once it cools off as that's the loudest.

Awesome, thanks for the entry. You're on the board, and I put a little question mark next to the values we're unsure about, just to be as clear as possible, because your idle seems far too low. But the rev looks just where I'd expect it. It's nice to have another mainstream exhaust option on the board. We now AWE and MPE, two of the more common exhausts for this platform. Thanks for participating

Did another test but with it cold. I did the cold start and after that when it warmed a bit and settled to a quieter volume I did the idle. Still under 160 temp. I think my first idle may have been a bad test. Either way, more data. This was on comfort mode as well, but with my flap wired open all the time all modes sound the same at idle.

Yah, that idle makes much more sense. Thanks for retesting, the board's updated
