Adblue dosing sensor fault?
Hi folks,
My 335d (18) is currently at the dealers due to an engine management light on the dash (that went away after a few days) and they've just called to say it's a fault with the adblue dosing sensor (or similar). Part isn't due until "February sometime" and because they don't know what damage could be done running the car they are keeping it and giving me a 3 series hire car. I thought the adblue went into the exhaust system so I can't see what damage can be done Surely can't be as much damage as the potential for dings sitting in a dealers yard for a month! It's just typical that the snow is due back and my xdrive and winter tyres will be parked up |

Very frustrating; especially if you get immobilised by snow if you are a key worker etc. Could be worse though; loads of folks lost cars for months in egr cooler fiasco.
