Keep me posted if anyone in the GTA gets this covered by the dealership.
did they agree to replace ? I have a 2014 LSB mpe 335, they refused to cover under CPO, as plastic/trim is not covered.

BMW Canada confirmed the information from the dealer, not covered on rust waranty

Dear Mr. Dion:

Thank you for contacting BMW Canada.

Please be advised that we can confirm that the paint is not a warrantable component of your vehicle. This would be a considered a wear and tear issue and not a manufacturing defect. We hope you find this information helpful.

If you have any further comments, please reply to this e-mail or contact the Customer Interaction Centre at 1-800-567-2691. Again, thank you for contacting BMW Canada.

Sincerely,

Amber Hupp

Wow that is BS. This is clearly a manufacturing defect in the painting process.

Yet another way BMW fists its owners in Canada.
