F30 OEM+ Build Thread
Introducing my 2013 335i X-Drive.
I purchased this car last summer after driving an E90 335 diesel, as fun as the car was I missed the modern technology and felt I need all wheel drive for the winters here in Canada. So I started my search and found a local private seller who had a nicely spec'd 2013 335i xdrive, with pretty much every option except heads up display. I went to check out the car and after driving it knew I wanted it, I booked a pre purchase inspection at a local indy shop and he gave me the green light that this would be a good vehicle. I went ahead and purchased it. My Goal with my build is an OEM plus flair. First mods were pretty basic, full detail with ceramic coating, blacked out kidney grills and hydro dipped front lip. I had also picked up an M Performance exhaust with carbon fiber tips. Winter came quickly and the accumulation of mods began… -Bilstein B14 Coilovers -M3 style rear carbon spoiler -M performance gloss black rear diffuser -M performance shift knob -M performance E-brake with boot -OEM 437m wheels with firestone firehawk tires -M3 style carbon fiber mirrors -OEM LCI Tailights -M performance gloss black front lip as the fake carbon lip looked tacky to me Future plans -I still have an extended warranty but have considered going FBO, however seeing as this is my daily driver and PWG, I may just do a stage 1 tune and upgrade the charge pipe.

Honestly the 335d was a beast, I was fully deleted and tuned. 350 whp and 550 ft/lbs of torque while getting 900 kms to a tank! But it lacked creature comforts and had agressive fitment to the point of almost being undriveable lol.

I would love to do this, it seems like a fairly large undertaking and expensive, but it would really transform the car, I was hoping Depo had come out with the LCI style replacement headlights but it doesn't appear to be happening any time soon.

Thank you! The bilsteins are great quite an upgrade from the stock xdrive suspension, pretty firm but not to the point of taking away from the daily driveability

What a beauty! I love the OEM+ vibe. That's what I want to do with mine. I want 437ms. They look fantastic and the fitment is great!

Awesome car - the 437 wheels are a good choice - they were on my wish list as well but then I came across another set. I like the stance -would love to lower my car but Australian roads are just not made for it.

thank you! I was not completely sold on them from looking at pictures online but in person you can really see how aggressive they are for an OEM wheel. I share your feelings about poor road conditions, I may be raising the height sooner than later, but so far so good, just need to be pretty cautious.

I think a few guys have been running these wheels on their F31s and it looks great!
