Service History on iDrive from independent mechanic?

Hi All, was wondering if independent mechanics could input information into the idrive after they service it? If so, any recommendations on mechanics to service my F30 on the south side of Brisbane?

I have had the same issue ,i checked and records are not present . I have kept the invoices as proof

I think I read somewhere that the service history is stored on an online BMW database with only dealers and selected partners having access to upload to this. Then when the car goes to a BMW dealership for any work, this data gets transferred to the car.

I've also read that it is possible to code in data directly to the vehicle, however if it isn't in the online database then the next time the car visits BMW the online records will be transferred to the car.

I'd say it would be best to keep invoices for services carried out. You can still reset the service reminders without any impact though.
