Wondering if it is possible to code on a F30 to be able to start the vehicle without stepping on the Brake pedal?

Just an update for anyone else who might have issues coding this.
As I started coding I realized I did not have 3310 TCM_STARTLOCK_BRAKE in FEM_BODY.
So i did some snooping around in FEM_BODY trying to look for it and when I opened 3020 TcMaster, 5C i opened Functionen and then saw TCM_STARTLOCK_BRAKE so I opened Ausgelesen and changed the value to nicht_aktiv

I coded FDL and got 0 errors. Disconnected from the software, restarted the vehicle, and IT WORKED! Starting the vehicle without stepping on the brake now.

This helps a lot when Im putting my daughter in the baby seat so that the girlfriend can start the vehicle from passenger side!

Thanks for your help once again atzebmw wouldn't have found it without you.

What if you just want to turn on the car without staring the engine?

What about when you want to just turn the car/audio off, normally One press stops the engine and then a 2nd press, foot off the brake will shut the car down, now the engine will restart?

Looks like you'd have to leave the setting at default. I also like pressing once to turn off the engine but the radio stays on, is this the case with this coding setting or does it turn everything off when you shut off the engine? My car keeps the radio and power windows/mirrors working after shutting off the engine and I can turn it off with a second press or when I lock the car, so I can avoid pressing it twice to turn off.

So the way it works is when you get into the vehicle, the first press turns on auxiliary (light, fan, music) as before then the second press you hold down for 2 seconds to start the vehicle.
Then the next/third press turns off engine with music still running as before. Then the next/fourth press turns off entire vehicle as before.
The next press you are back at the beginning (first press).

In other words the only thing that changes is that you do not depress the brake, everything else is the same you just holding the start button for about 2 seconds to ignite engine

Does this work for a 2016 428i 6 speed manual?

I was really looking to just start the engine without the clutch but if i can do it without the brake that would work too.
