Congrats and great car. I quite like Audi.... and that is an epic spec.

You will soon get used to touchscreen - or even more likely, voice control.....

Did I mention I loved my SQ5.....

And agree the Bose is fab. not that I have it on much these days, window down and exhaust up!

Totally agree, I still miss the B&O I had in my B8 S4, the HK in my F30 is pretty woeful in comparison.

Yeah Audi applied lifeshine to my dads silver TT, I told him to avoid it at all costs, he didn't listen.
Huge "I told you so" moment when he got it home and I pointed out the dirty hand print on the door they had "sealed" in.

He takes detailing advice from me now….most of the time.

Indeed mate.

The product is probably not too bad its just it needs to be applied correctly by someone who knows what they are doing.

Went past Taunton Audi today and there were 4 new Q5s sat for sale. Almost like Audi had anticipated higher demand?

Collected this morning..... only driven across London from the dealership to the office so far. But first impressions are great, lovely to drive and looks great to me. The interior is fantastic very premium as you would expect.

A bit disappointed you don't get the painted calipers though which is strange seeing as its the top of the range Vorsprung Competition model.

I will get some better pictures soon.

Well when you say proper exhaust..... I must admit there is some proper fakery in there. But they do look great.

when I say proper exhausts I mean compared to the blanks that were on my SQ5....

Be interested to hear how you get on with the hybrid side of things. Its a shame you cant get the 60TFSi e comp with the 3 litre engine as per the Q7.....462PS sounds good in the smaller body but perhaps not so good for Audi's average CO2 emissions!

That would certainly be nice. Its 0-60 is 5.3 secs on the 55e so not to shabby anyway. I'm looking forward to getting out of London later and stretching its legs.

That's faster than my SQ5 was so definitely not shabby.

A very purposeful looking Q5, I like that. Enjoy!

Small update..... I'm still massively pleased with the Q5.

I'm suprised how fast and engaging it is to drive which I really wasn't expecting from an SUV. Especially after reading a few reviews that the Q5 is a little dull to drive in comparison to the X3.

One small thing that has bugged me is the address input with the sat nav. Maybe I need to look into this a bit more but when you input a poscode it just takes you straight to the center of it with no other options like road and house number. You can skip putting in a postcode and go straight to inputting a road and house number but this just seems very long-winded.

if you find a way round it (by reading the manual) please tell me, as I havent read the manual....

I tend to input addresses by voice control, which is pretty effective at the full address...

Yes my manual is tucked firmly away in the glovebox too.

Real men don't need manuals

You can use the Audi Connect app on your phone for full address search and then send it to the car. It's essentially a Google maps search so will find pretty much anything and gets sent through to the sat nav instantly.

Still bloody stupid you can only input a Postcode as a centre into the Sat Nav and that it doesn't automatically follow with > Street > House Number (as iDrive does).
