Post some pics when you do. I have the same thing on my F23 and am thinking another set for the F31 (but in silver this time).

Is there a downside to keeping 265/35 out back if I went with the 18x9.5" EC-7??

Thanks!!

Also, which model are the lightest 18" wheels?

Yes! Running it now...

275/35 18 out back on 18x9.5 EC7
245/40 18 up front on 18x9 EC7

I'm running -3 degrees of camber up front and -2 out back.

Fender liners in the front were rolled by a body shop. Specifically, the plastic and felt wheel well liners... not the quarter panel. The back is 100% stock no rolling there.

I'm lowered on Ohlins with M3 LCAs and Ground Control plates up front. The LCA's added enough castor that a 19" wheel with a 245/40 tire would rub the front part of the wheel well when turned in... but my wheels and tires clear it by about 4mm.

Nice! What are the offsets on the wheels?

How do you like the Ohlins and GC plates, particularly in terms of track handling and overall NVH?

Offsets are...

18x9 et 31 (front)
18x9.5 et 43 (rear)

Ohlins are amazing... sooooo smooth. I have them on damper setting 8 of 30 (1 is full track and 30 is full comfort). I wouldn't want them any more towards comfort, if anything I'll go the other way.

NVH is not noticeably different from where I was before (stock struts and Dinan springs). Honestly I can't tell a difference.

The Toyo R888r's are wicked loud but that's ok... brakes are way loud too but also ok... I suppose my thought on the matter is that 'performance' comes with some sacrifices... noise being one of them

Hi there,

This is the closest picture I could find to your request:

Hope this helps!

Hi there,

For an ARC-8R square setup on an X-drive F30, I would suggest the following fitment:

Front & Rear: 18x9” ET30 or ET31 with 255/35-18 tires
-Front negative camber may be required depending on ride height.
-Rear fender roll may be required depending on ride height and tire brand.
-245/40-18 tires can be used for an easier fit.

On a completely stock car, you can typically get away with a 245/40-18 as a direct fit if you are using less-aggressive street tires. However, we do still recommend a touch of camber to really dial-in this setup from a fitment perspective.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Jared - great wheel choice. Any rubbing? Any fender rolling required? How much camber are you running?
