225/50R17 or 225/45R18 for Winter
Hello,
I'm looking to buy Winter tires for my 2016 BMW 328i XDrive (M-Sport), what would be better in Quebec Winter weather 225/50R17 or 225/45R18 |

I use winter tires for about 5 months in the year, I don't want my car to look like crap for 1/2 of the year, on steel wheels or smaller diameter rims. which is why I chose to go with the 18" over the 17". 17' will cost less, but 18' look better. |

An 18 will be fine with that tire. The side profile is high enough to protect the wheel as that's stock spec anyway.
