The railroad tracks have a nice shiny top on them, so they're obviously still in use. Hope you managed your shots around the railroad timetable

ps. just had a look at the full set on Flickr . . . . great !
Thanks! Yeah, that was a functional track with frequent traffic. My wife was actually inside the driver seat, ducked! We both had our cellphones on, and as soon as I heard the train coming I yelled "GET OUT!!!" and she sprung back up, and drove off... engine running the whole time.. lol.

Glad you guys like'm!

Nice color! Very special indeed. Did you have to order and wait for this? Most of the stock in the dealership near my area are white, white, and white.

It's getting better. With the '14 models most were overloaded with options and packages, and what wasn't white was black or grey. Now the more attractive colors are showing up, as well as those with fewer frilly options and packages. Maybe BMW finally figured out that the average GT customer is interested in utility, not bling. IMO the only must haves are nav and rear view. I ended up with heated seats and enhanced USB as well, but that being only an additional $1,000 it wasn't a deal breaker, and I do like the heated seats. The only other option I would like is intelligent cruise, but the only way I could get it was packaged with $3k to $5k of other stuff that I didn't want. I'll live without it.
BTW, I've found that Midnight Blue is almost as bad as black where showing dirt is concerned. It's gorgeous, but be prepared to wash it weekly. I also had scratches show up just behind the wheel wells within the first 200 miles. Mud flaps are a must. You can't get them as an option in the US, but you can get them from BMW of Mt.Laurel New Jersey and put them on yourself. PN 82-16-2-333-951,82-16-2-333-951

Thanks, yes I just love Midnight Blue, and yes I did order it specially. I have always ordered my BMWs well in advance and spec them the way I want them. Going through all the options can take quite a time, but really that's half the fun.

I agree with Bill about mudflaps and have mentioned them in another thread.
My previous BMW was an E92 325 in Platinum Bronze and that suffered a little from stone chipping around the wheel arches and along the sills. However my dealership were very good (I've had 5 cars from them, so we get on well), and they arranged to respray the affected areas and fit mudflaps.
With that in mind, when I ordered the 328i GT, I spoke to the dealership about mudflaps and said that if I paid for them, would they fit them for free, and of course they agreed. I really wouldn't want to be without them, especially on some of our roads in The Highlands.

Love the look of the luxury line. I wish you could order luxury line with sport seats in the states like you can overseas.

I wish all of the colors were available across the lines. Don't really understand why BMW limits one in their choice of external/internal colors.

Yes I agree Mark.
I'm pretty sure, that because I think my current 328i GT is the best I've had, I'll be ordering another with the same spec ready for March next year. So around October / November I'll be getting to grips with brochures and specs.
At the moment my problem is what colour to have, I can't really go for another one in Midnight Blue. That really would be too samey. I quite like Mineral Grey and Kalahari Beige, but what colour interior looks best ?
Personally I like light interiors, hence Venetian Beige in my present car. So that would go with Kalahari Beige, but what colour would look good with Mineral Grey ? Bearing in mind that I won't have black.
What about 'Oyster' ?

I sympathise with your dilemma. After all, the exterior/interior colors are probably the most personal decisions one will make when purchasing a car. This decision is difficult enough without the manufacturer limiting which colors are available on which lines! When I ordered my GT, I had determined I wanted the Coral Red Interior because I wanted something that made a statement. I also knew I wanted the M-Sport Line because I liked the look and the sport seats. With those decisions out of the way, it was now a matter of choosing the exterior color.

Unfortunately, some of the colors I was interested in, Kalahari Beige, Sparkling Brown and Mineral White, were not available with the M-Sport Line. Although I liked the Mineral Grey, available on the M-Sport, i felt it was too close to a color I had had on a Volvo. So you can see. Back and forth, forth and back it goes, trying to decide on a color! Sometimes I think we forget that the purchase is only for a few years, not for life! But, nonetheless, we want something that says a little something about ourselves. Who we are, so to speak.

In the end I went with the Glacier Silver with the Coral Red. It certainly wasn't a profound color combination, but it will do.

Chaoyu, what color is your interior? Would love to see pictures of it as well.

Liquid Blue isn't offered in the US. That's a shame, looks really nice.

^^I'm surprised, I assumed it would be beige. Looks good all the same. Did the dealer swap out the steering wheel for you prior to delivery or did you have it done after the sale?

Took a few pics while in Florida.

Gloss black grilles, on their way.

This angle always looks awkward.
